FPWedding

This is the wedding picture of my parents (Dick and Isabelle) on November 7th,1941.  My father was working a small dairy farm just south of Stonewall, Manitoba during World War II while my mother was teaching at a small country school nearby.  Somehow they met and the rest is history as they say...

This was Dad's dairy barn.  It was later destroyed by fire after we moved to Edmonton in 1947.  Dad often speculated whether the new owner had deliberately set it on fire for insurance purposes.
