This is the wedding picture of my parents (Dick and Isabelle) on
November 7th,1941. My father was working a
small dairy farm just south of Stonewall, Manitoba during World War II
while my mother was teaching at a small country school nearby.
Somehow they met and the rest is history as they say...
This was Dad's dairy barn. It was later destroyed by fire after
we moved to Edmonton in 1947. Dad often speculated whether the
new owner had deliberately set it on fire for insurance purposes.

This is mother holding me I think about 1 1/2 years on Dad's John Deere
tractor.

This is me on Dad's John Deere tractor about 1945.

The kid driving the tricycle is me about 2 years old and the passenger
is
my 1 year old brother, Bob.

This me about 2 on Dad's shoulders with Bob about 1 and Mother at the
farm.

This is Grandma Ursel talking to her grandsons, Glenn and Bob in Dad's
1929 Chevrolet.

This is me on Dad's shoulders with Mother looking on.
Unforturnately, the picture has been damaged. This picture shows
more of the barn in the
background.

This is my brother, Bob, lighting up Dad's cigarette. You can see
why my brother still smokes today...

This is my 2 year old brother Bob showing off his future biker skills
with the 1929 family chariot in the background. The year is 1946.

This is me about 3 years in 1946.
