Flight to Hong Kong

Cockpit1
This is me flying to Hong Kong in April of 2000 as a guest of Captain Hugh Forbes in the cockpit of a Canadian Airlines 747.

Peninsula Hotel
I always had a romantic notion of the famous Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong from reading references to it in many novels so here it is.  It is similar to our old CPR Railway hotels in Canada, being very posh and expensive to stay or dine at.

HKIsTram
This is downtown Hong Kong showing the colourful trams in the background and the hordes of people in the streets.  This picture was taken with my first digital camera that I bought in December of 1997.  It had a resolution of only about a 1/3 of a mega pixel.  My story of this flight to Hong Kong  was documented in the September, 2000 Pacific Ultralight Flying Association Newsletter which can be accessed by clicking on the PUFA link and then clicking on the Newsletters link in the center of the page, then clicking on the link for the September 2000 issue.
